Burgess and Zeneli hand Union victory over Genk
A header from Burgess in his 250th match for the club and a cool finish from Zeneli after the break were enough for Union to see off Racing Genk 2-1. The Brussels side allowed Genk back into the game via a penalty, but never relinquished the three points.

Our Unionists were held to a bitter 0-0 draw away at Westerlo, despite playing with a numerical advantage for most of the match. Two disallowed goals, missed chances and a rock-solid home defence proved costly for Union.

Further medical examinations have revealed that our forward Promise David sustained a muscle injury in his hip. He will be sidelined for a period of time. In consultation with the club, the player and his entourage, a decision will be made regarding the appropriate treatment plan.

Sykes heads Union past Antwerp in stoppage time
Union secured a 2-1 home victory over Antwerp this evening. The Brussels side looked set to drop more points after Valencia’s equaliser, but deep into stoppage time Sykes rose centrally to head home the winner and secure all three points. Union now sit alone at the top of the table, two points clear of Sint-Truiden.

Guilherme saves a point for Union against Standard
Union earned a point at Sclessin thanks to substitute Guilherme. The Union side went behind in the first half after a goal from Ayensa, but Guilherme levelled the score in the 76th minute: 1–1.

Union are Cup finalists and heading back to the Heysel
The Union family can once again prepare for a trip to the Heysel after eliminating Charleroi in the semi-finals of the Belgian cup. The first goal of the match came after just 12 seconds. But the equaliser quickly followed. In the end, our Unionists made the difference and secured an emphatic 4-1 victory. We now prepare for our second Cup final in three years.

Union rectifies the situation and beats La Louvière
Union won 2-1 at home against La Louvière. In a poor first half, the team fell behind after just 4 minutes following an error by Guilherme. Schoofs equalized for Union just before half-time. In the second half, Union took the initiative and Guilherme scored the decisive goal.

Union put a fine finishing touch on their very first Champions League adventure
Many had written Union off, but we still collected 9 points in our very first Champions League campaign. Against Atalanta BC, a single goal from Khalaili was enough to secure our first home victory. In the end, our negative goal difference proved costly and we are eliminated from the next round.

At 28, Mathias Rasmussen continues his career with German top-flight side St. Pauli, coached by our former manager Alexander Blessin. The move is a permanent transfer.

Union grind out nervy draw at OH Leuven
Union Saint-Gilloise were held to a goalless draw away at OH Leuven after a largely uneventful encounter. The visitors looked to make the difference in the first half but failed to register a single shot on target. After the break, the home side took control and regularly put the Brussels defence under pressure, but goalkeeper Scherpen ensured Union came away with a point.
