Zeneli (23) joins Union with immediate effect from Swedish side Elfsborg. The Swedish international (5 caps) has signed a contract with Union until June 2030.

Union sign defender Massiré Sylla, best young player in Norway’s second division
Union have signed 21-year-old Senegalese centre-back Massiré Sylla on a contract running until June 2030. During his time at his former club Lyn 1896 FK, Sylla was voted Best Young Player of the OBOS-ligaen, Norway’s second tier.

Croky Cup Ticketing: Free bus trip to Dender - Union
In collaboration with De Lijn, the club is providing free shuttle services to Denderleeuw for our Croky Cup quarter-final against Dender. The buses will depart on matchday (Wednesday 14/01) at 6:45 PM sharp from the Bervoets stop in Vorst. A match ticket costs €10 and is available via ticketing.rusg.brussels.

Union and Sofiane Boufal part ways by mutual agreement
Union Saint-Gilloise and Sofiane Boufal have decided, by mutual agreement, to terminate the contract that bound them until June 2026, with immediate effect. Sofiane Boufal is now free of any contractual obligation.

Forward Mateo Biondic joins Union
Centre-forward Mateo Biondic is 22 years old, stands 1.90m tall and joins from German fourth-division side SV Eintracht Trier. With the club from the Moselle city, he recorded 7 goals and 5 assists in 17 matches during the first half of the season. Biondic has signed a contract with Union until June 2030.

Union drop points in evenly balanced clash against Cercle Brugge
Union failed to close out 2025 with a victory. Away at Cercle Brugge, the match remained evenly balanced for long spells, with both sides creating chances. After two goals in the first half, the tempo dropped. Both teams were eventually reduced to ten men, and neither managed to find a winning goal. The match ended 1-1.

David and Khalaili hand Union a win against Zulte Waregem
After taking just two points from their previous three matches, Union bounced back with a 2-0 home victory against Zulte Waregem. The visitors created the better chances in the first half, but Promise David put the Brussels side ahead with a header. After the break, Union took control and Khalaili sealed the win.

Our Unionists will travel to Cercle Brugge on Friday 26 December at 4 PM. For this away game, you are NOT required to travel with one of our fan club buses. You can therefore buy your ticket on ticketing.rusg.brussels and make your own way to the stadium. Tickets are available starting from Monday the 22nd of December at 2pm.

Ticketing: Union - Zulte Waregem [open ticket sale]
The open ticket sale for our match on Saturday against Zulte Waregem 20/12 at 8:45 PM starts tomorrow 18/12 at 11 AM and ends on Friday at 6 PM. This means that fans without a purchase history can also buy tickets starting tomorrow. Fans with a purchase history can already buy their ticket on ticketing.rusg.brussels.
