Union grind out nervy draw at OH Leuven
Union Saint-Gilloise were held to a goalless draw away at OH Leuven after a largely uneventful encounter. The visitors looked to make the difference in the first half but failed to register a single shot on target. After the break, the home side took control and regularly put the Brussels defence under pressure, but goalkeeper Scherpen ensured Union came away with a point.

At 28, Mathias Rasmussen continues his career with German top-flight side St. Pauli, coached by our former manager Alexander Blessin. The move is a permanent transfer.

Union organises a visually impaired stand for UCL game against Atalanta
In collaboration with Inter Vlaanderen, the club will organize a visually impaired stand for its Champions League match against Atalanta BC at Lotto Park. Visually impaired fans can request a ticket (€37) by email, and their accompanying person is admitted for free. Kick off is at 21:00.

A strong first half was undone by a goal from a corner and a penalty, both finished by Harry Kane. Union missed the chance to take the lead through Promise David, but still delivered a strong performance at the very highest level.

Ticketing: semi-finals Croky Cup against Charleroi (away and home leg)
Our Unionists will play the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup for the third time in four years. We will face Sporting Charleroi, who defeated Club Brugge at home in the previous round. We will first play away on Wednesday 4 February at 20:30, before the return leg the following week at our Marien Stadium on Wednesday 11 February at 20:30.

David leads Union to a 1-0 victory over KV Mechelen
Union secured a deserved 1-0 win against KV Mechelen at the Duden Park. In the first half, we firmly took control of the game and dominated proceedings. Promise David rewarded that dominance with the only goal of the evening, finishing off a quick transition initiated by Van de Perre. After the break, the match became more balanced and we were forced to drop deeper at times, but thanks to strong collective defensive work, we held on to our lead.

Croky Cup: semi-final dates against Charleroi confirmed
Union will first play away at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi on Wednesday 4 February at 8:30 PM. The return leg will take place a week later at the Duden Park on 11 February, also at 8:30 PM. Ticket information will follow during the course of next week.

Union eliminate Dender and qualify for the semi-finals of the Croky Cup!
After a well-controlled performance, Union booked their place in the last four of the Croky Cup thanks to goals from Promise David and Kamiel Van de Perre. We will now face Charleroi in a two-legged semi-final, to be played on February 3rd, 4th or 5th (first leg) and February 11th (second leg).

Zeneli (23) joins Union with immediate effect from Swedish side Elfsborg. The Swedish international (5 caps) has signed a contract with Union until June 2030.

Union sign defender Massiré Sylla, best young player in Norway’s second division
Union have signed 21-year-old Senegalese centre-back Massiré Sylla on a contract running until June 2030. During his time at his former club Lyn 1896 FK, Sylla was voted Best Young Player of the OBOS-ligaen, Norway’s second tier.
