Union kick off play-offs with important win against Sint-Truiden
Union won the opening match of the play-offs. A deflected cross from Guilherme Smith broke the deadlock in the second half, and despite a nervy final quarter of an hour, the Brussels side held on against Sint-Truiden: 1-0. A good start of the Champions’ Play-offs.

How Union Saint-Gilloise spent ten years as Royale Union
Our latest vintage clothing collection has a story to tell. The old logo it features was the club's official badge from 1973 to 1983. The reason? The owners at the time were in financial difficulty, and their request for support from the municipality of Saint-Gilles was met with a cold shoulder. So Saint-Gilloise had to briefly disappear from the club's name.

Union chooses not to look away
With the testimony of Sophie*, a Union supporter, about sexual violence during an away match, we want to remind everyone that unacceptable behaviour can also occur around Union. This despite our stands being very mixed, with positivity and openness at the heart of our identity. We do not look away: not when someone has the courage to speak up, and not when the reported incident is questioned by others. Sexual violence is never the victim’s fault. So do not look away. Every inappropriate touch, every misplaced remark and every victim of sexual violence is one too many.

A header from Burgess in his 250th match for the club and a cool finish from Zeneli after the break were enough for Union to see off Racing Genk 2-1. The Brussels side allowed Genk back into the game via a penalty, but never relinquished the three points.
