Niang leaves Union

Senegalese winger joins Zulte-Waregem.

Union and Ousseynou Niang are parting ways. After two seasons with Union, he joins fellow Belgian club Zulte-Waregem.

The pacey left winger joined Union in the summer of 2024 from Riga FC. He made 81 official appearances for Union, including 7 in the Champions League. In total, he scored 4 goals. He was part of the Belgian championship-winning team in 2024/25, the Belgian Cup-winning team in 2025/26, and won the Belgian Super Cup in 2026 as well as the Africa Cup of Nations final with Senegal in 2026.
