Who we are
In 2018, Union took the key step of establishing the Union Foundation, to formalise and enhance its community engagement. In 2022, this evolved into Union Inspires, representing a unified approach that integrates both social and environmental objectives.

Our actions are based on four main pillars
Environmental Impact
We have made a commitment to reduce our environmental impact and launched several initiatives to address our footprint. In 2019, we became the first club to use eco-cups, with the objective of drastically reducing plastic waste. We have also been measuring our annual carbon footprint since 2019-2020, with the goal of halving our emissions by 2030.
Good Governance
Since 2021, we have implemented an Anti-Money Laundering policy aimed at combating fraud, corruption, and money laundering.
Sustainable Partnerships
We build strong partnerships with organizations that share our vision for a sustainable future. By collaborating with various stakeholders, we multiply our impact and create more meaningful change across our social and environmental initiatives. We have also established a code of conduct for our partners, ensuring their commitment to best practices.
Social Impact (Fieldwork)
This pillar encompasses our daily work with various target groups, including social cohesion activities and socio-sporting sessions led by coaches trained in social support. These sessions focus on fostering a sense of belonging among participants, including children, seniors, individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities, homeless people, refugees, and ex-prisoners.
