After a difficult ending last week, Union was eager to bounce back. The Brussels side took the lead after 23 minutes through Kevin Rodriguez and gained full control when Standard’s Thomas Henry picked up two quick yellow cards. In the second half, Rodriguez netted his third goal of the season before substitute Promise David sealed the 3-0 scoreline.

Union Saint-Gilloise is today launching its third kit, at the Midi Fair with Kevin Mac Allister, player Laura Ocampo and Union Kid Alexis! This kit will be worn when the team cannot play in yellow or white, in the Champions League and possibly in the Belgian Cup (depending on the opponent). The first 500 children aged 12 or under who register via this form will receive a free shirt in their size. The remaining shirts will go to youth projects linked to Union and Union Inspires. Union has strengthened its squad with Guilherme Smith. The 22-year-old Brazilian joins from Estonian side Kalju FC and has signed a contract until June 2029, with an option for an additional year.

Union Saint-Gilloise is proud to present its latest white away shirt. The shirt was designed by fan Marc Janssens, whose design emerged as the winner of our fan design competition held at the end of last year. The jersey features a map of the neighbourhood surrounding the Marien Stadium, showing both Saint-Gilles and Forest. The map and this view date back to the 1950s.

In a fiercely contested match between KAA Gent and Union, the Brussels side ultimately came out on top with a 2-3 victory. All three Union goals came from set pieces. The first was scored by Leysen from a Florucz free-kick. The other two were netted by Rodríguez and Zorgane from corners. KAA Gent pushed hard in the closing stages to try and snatch a point, but their comeback came too late.

Mohammed Fuseini (23) has chosen to extend his stay at the Duden Park. The Ghanaian has signed a contract extension until 2028, with an option for 2029.

Fedde (22) has signed a new deal, keeping our defender at the club until June 2029.

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is extending its partnership with Jupiler through a new multi-year agreement.
