After winning the league title last season, Union once again faced cup winner Club Brugge in the Supercup. The runners-up were seeking revenge after losing the championship. Ivanović gave Union the lead after fifteen minutes, but half an hour in, Club Brugge equalised from the penalty spot. In stoppage time of the first half, Club took the lead from a corner: 1–2.

Our Union players have won their final friendly with a 0-1 victory over French Ligue 1 newcomers Paris FC. The only goal was scored in the second half by Ait El Hadj.

We are looking for a Greenkeeper for the pitches at our new training center in Zaventem. The Greenkeeper is responsible for the maintenance, preparation, and optimization of the quality of the training fields.

Kamiel Van de Perre joined us last summer from Racing Genk and has now extended his contract for one more season, until June 2029.

Union will head to Paris for three days, from Tuesday to Thursday. On Wednesday evening at 6pm, we’ll play a friendly against Paris FC. The match will be played behind closed doors and, at the host’s request, won’t be streamed online. Union’s social media team will keep you updated.

Union, champions of Belgium, take on cup winner Club Brugge for the Volkswagen Super Cup on Sunday 20 July at 6.30pm in our Marien Stadium. From Wednesday 2 July at 11am, season ticket holders can buy tickets for this match.
