Union kicked off the new season of the Jupiler Pro League with a draw away to Antwerp. The Brussels side were awarded an early penalty, but Promise David failed to convert. Just before half-time, Vincent Janssen gave Antwerp the lead from a free-kick. In the second half, new signing Raul Florucz netted the equaliser, but Union couldn’t snatch all three points.

Goal-getter Franjo Ivanović makes a move to SL Benfica after one season with Union. He scored 21 goals and provided 7 assists in 47 matches for our club.

Dutch goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen (25) has signed with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise until 2028.

Engelwood will appear on our training kits throughout the 2025/26 season during training sessions and before matches in the Jupiler Pro League, the Belgian Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. We’re delighted to welcome them to our business network!

After winning the league title last season, Union once again faced cup winner Club Brugge in the Supercup. The runners-up were seeking revenge after losing the championship. Ivanović gave Union the lead after fifteen minutes, but half an hour in, Club Brugge equalised from the penalty spot. In stoppage time of the first half, Club took the lead from a corner: 1–2.

Our Union players have won their final friendly with a 0-1 victory over French Ligue 1 newcomers Paris FC. The only goal was scored in the second half by Ait El Hadj.

Promotion, the Cup, the Supercup and the league title. Over five seasons, Anthony Moris lifted four trophies with Union, with the Belgian championship as the crowning achievement. Union Saint-Gilloise thanks Antho for the successes achieved together.
