In a closely contested match, the Brussels derby ended in a 1–0 win for Anderlecht. Union fell behind early on. In the 11th minute, Angulo opened the scoring with a deflected shot. Despite an attacking second half, Union couldn’t rescue a late equaliser.

After a duel-filled and at times rough match, Union earned a deserved 2-0 victory against Cercle Brugge. Promise David put us ahead just before halftime with a deflected shot, and in the second half substitute Raul Florucz sealed the win with a reassuring 2-0.

Union will face Zulte Waregem in the round of sixteen of the Belgian Cup at the Joseph Marien Stadium. Kick off is on Wednesday 3 December at 20.30. Season ticket holders have until Monday 17 November at 18.00 to claim their usual seat. On 18 November, season ticket holders and Union+ Members can take the remaining seats. The sale conditions of the open ticket sale will be communicated in the upcoming days.
