Today, during the international break, our Unionists faced Patro Eisden in a friendly match at the training center in Zaventem. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Guillaume François, captain for the occasion, scoring our goal.

Union suffered their first Jupiler Pro League defeat since March, following a 1-0 loss to Club Brugge. In a hard-fought match with few chances, Forbs eventually found the net. In the closing stages, Union pushed forward again, but the score remained 1-0.

On Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League League Phase, we welcomed English side Newcastle United to Brussels. Our Unionists started the game full of energy and immediately created some chances, but efficiency and maturity made the difference. Newcastle punished our mistakes without mercy and took all three points back to England.
