Union Saint-Gilloise is proud to present its latest white away shirt. The shirt was designed by fan Marc Janssens, whose design emerged as the winner of our fan design competition held at the end of last year. The jersey features a map of the neighbourhood surrounding the Marien Stadium, showing both Saint-Gilles and Forest. The map and this view date back to the 1950s.

In a fiercely contested match between KAA Gent and Union, the Brussels side ultimately came out on top with a 2-3 victory. All three Union goals came from set pieces. The first was scored by Leysen from a Florucz free-kick. The other two were netted by Rodríguez and Zorgane from corners. KAA Gent pushed hard in the closing stages to try and snatch a point, but their comeback came too late.

Mohammed Fuseini (23) has chosen to extend his stay at the Duden Park. The Ghanaian has signed a contract extension until 2028, with an option for 2029.

Fedde (22) has signed a new deal, keeping our defender at the club until June 2029.

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is extending its partnership with Jupiler through a new multi-year agreement.

For our second away game of the season, we travel to Gent on Saturday, August 9. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:45 PM. This match is subject to the combi rule, so you’ll need to contact one of our fan clubs to attend the game.

On matchday 4 of the Jupiler Pro League, on Saturday, August 16 at 8:45 PM, we host Standard de Liège at the Duden Park. Tickets will be available first for Union+ Members starting Monday, August 4 at 11 AM via ticketing.rusg.brussels.

After last week’s draw against Antwerp, Union secured a convincing victory in its second match of the season. Despite missing key players Christian Burgess and Promise David, the team came out firing and was already 2-0 up within five minutes. Even after the break, the hunger for goals remained. Florucz and Niang eventually sealed the final 5-0 scoreline.
