A month after the last international break, it is already time for our players to return to their national teams. One player is celebrating his first call-up: our third goalkeeper Maxime Wenssens, selected for the first time with Rwanda!

3-0 showed the scoreboard at the Marien Stadium on Sunday evening around quarter past nine. Goals by Rodriguez (2) and Lapoussin mathematically ensured Union first place at the end of the first round of games of the regular season, with one match to go. A stellar performance!

Leader Union hosts KV Kortrijk in a sold-out Marien Stadium on Sunday evening at 19h15. Christian Burgess is serving a suspension following his fifth yellow card. Mohammed Amoura is recovering from his shoulder injury and is also not in the squad.

There was little to see in the first 20 minutes. Amoura seemed to be on the mend again with his shoulder after an early duel. Both teams only really loosened up after a less well played chance through Eckert Ayensa.

Gustaf Nilsson is still injured and thus will not play tomorrow either. Coach Blessin leaves Elton Kabangu, Guillaume François and Matthew Sorinola out of the squad.

At last. A home win against Club Brugge! Amoura was the man of the match. An exceptional overhead kick and an unparalleled sprint and finish

Coach Blessin selected the expected names for tomorrow night's match-up against Club Brugge. Only Gustaf Nilsson is unavailable. Teklab, Huygevelde, Leysen and Sorinola did not make the selection.

The Marien Stadium was filled with nearly 5,800 spectators and Union won 2-1 in the Round of 32 against RFC Meux. We came away with a scare at the late 1-1. Rasmussen provided the 2-1 and accompanying relief with a quick reaction. Union goes to the next round!
