Union is looking for a Training Facility Manager in Zaventem
The Training Facility Center Manager is responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and smooth operation of the training center facilities in Zaventem. He / she / they will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the buildings and installations, providing an optimal environment for players, technical staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the opening and closing of the complex according to the first team’s schedule.
- Manage the access control system for staff and visitors.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report any incidents.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and overall condition of the training center.
- Plan and oversee technical interventions in collaboration with architects, contractors, and external service providers.
- Manage maintenance contracts (HVAC, electricity, plumbing, landscaping, etc.) and schedule the necessary interventions.
- Organise the planning and coordination of the cleaning company.
- Conduct regular inspections of the installations and report or resolve any malfunctions.
- Maintain a proactive relationship with the municipality regarding maintenance, road management, and waste management.
- Ensure the inventory management of maintenance, cleaning, and technical equipment.
- Develop a sustainable waste management plan in collaboration with Union Inspires:
- Oversee its daily implementation and follow-up.
- Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly practices within the center.
Profile
- Proven experience in building management, maintenance, or facility management.
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Good technical knowledge (electricity, plumbing, general maintenance).
- Excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders (staff, contractors, municipality, etc.).
- Flexibility, especially during events or urgent situations.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (knowledge of French is an asset).
