Union is looking for an HR Officer

Main mission

 

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative management of human resources within the club. You will support the implementation of HR processes, data management, and compliance with legal obligations.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

· Provide reliable administrative support for all HR activities managed by the HR Manager.

· Draft contractual documents (hiring, amendments, contract terminations).

· Manage absences, leave, time credit, medical certificates, etc.

· Handle the monthly payroll process.

· Contribute to the planning and organization of non-sport recruitment.

· Conduct interviews (recruitment and exit) in collaboration with the HR Manager.

· Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes across all departments.

· Keep HR databases accurate and up to date.

· Provide ad hoc reports upon request by the HR Manager.

· Actively participate in HR projects.

· Propose improvements to existing HR processes.

· Support internal culture, well-being, and employee engagement initiatives.

· Act as a point of contact between employees and the HR department for first-level inquiries.

 

 

Profile

 

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Administration, or equivalent.

· 1 to 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

· Experience in a dynamic environment such as sports, events, or industry is a plus.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools.

· Good knowledge of labor law and core HR processes.

· Ability to critically analyze HR data.

· Full professional proficiency in Dutch, with a good command of French and strong English skills.
