Union is looking for a Head of Fan Revenue
Our club and our fanbase are growing fast, and this momentum is bringing us to a turning point, with a new stadium project on the horizon that we're working on. Our commercial department has begun its transformation: bringing teams closer together around shared objectives, a new e-commerce platform, a new kit supplier, a redesign of the ticketing purchase journey, consolidation of the Data/CRM side, etc. We're now looking for the person who will build our D2C strategy (ticketing, memberships, merchandising) and turn it into a revenue engine.
The role
You will drive the revenue generated directly from our supporters (ticketing, memberships, merchandising), from strategy through to execution and reporting.
- Ticketing & memberships: pricing, sales phases, membership campaign, attendance/fill rate, purchase experience
- Merchandising: collections, margins, stock, webshop and fanshop performance, supplier relations
- Conversion marketing: campaigns, CRM, segmentation, acquisition, data-driven management
- Management: a team of 4 to structure and grow
You report to the Chief Commercial Officer. Brand, press, and sponsorship are handled by others: you have a clearly defined scope and identified counterparts.
Strategic and hands-on
We are a human-scale club. This role requires building a strategy and implementing it yourself: setting a revenue plan on Monday, checking a sales configuration on Tuesday. Someone who only manages wouldn't succeed here. Someone who only executes wouldn't either.
Your profile
- Solid experience in marketing or e-commerce, in sport, retail, or digital platforms
- A first successful experience managing a team, ideally in a transforming environment
- Strong command of online conversion and revenue mechanics
- Genuine ease with the tools of the trade: e-commerce platform (Shopify or equivalent), CRM, e-mailing, analytics and reporting tools (scope to be partly built)
- Someone with a real track record of results, not just projects completed/led
- Fluent French or Dutch, strong command of the second language, professional English
- And a mindset: comfortable with numbers, structuring without adding bureaucracy, able to help a team grow rather than doing the work for them. Our transformation is ongoing, and part of the job will be building what's still missing.
What we offer
A full scope and real latitude to build, at a pivotal moment in the club's history. Direct access to strategic topics. A team with enormous drive. A package in line with the seniority of the role.
Interested? Send your CV and cover letter to job@rusg.be before Friday 2 October 2026.
