Classy flick Ivanovic earns Union a point in Bruges

In an intense match at Jan Breydel, Union took the lead through its young Croatian striker. But in the end, Mechele still equalised.

Union started less well than usual. The first 10 minutes were for the hosts. Although Union did threaten via Fuseini, Mignolet saved.

The biggest chance though was for Club Brugge, Skroras could not decide alone in front of Moris.

In the second half, Franjo broke the spell. A lovely touch followed by ditto finishing and 0-1 for Union. Afterwards, Bruges took complete control. Unfortunately for us, they also scored through Mechelen on a corner kick.

It remained 1-1 and so we dive into the international period. Next week on Saturday 19 October we play KAA Gent at the Marienstadion. The last tickets go on sale now on our ticketing website.
