Heinz Lindner (33) joins us from Switzerland's FC Sion until the end of the season. Lindner will join our goalkeeper squad for six months. The Austrian goalkeeper previously played for Austria Wien, Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Basel, among others. He counts 36 international matches for the Austrian national team.

With 26 players, we are pitching our tents in Algorfa, near Alicante. Among the players there are also four players from our U23 squad. The stage runs from Tuesday 9/01 to Saturday 13/01, on Friday 12/01 we play against Swiss Sankt Gallen in the Pinatar Arena at 12.00. The match is open to the public and is also normally streamed on our website

Union is competing in the indoor international U19 tournament in Stuttgart. We will take on the likes of Manchester United, Freiburg and Union Berlin.

RUSG, including the Union Foundation and the Academy, closed the 2022-2023 financial year with a profit (after tax) of €2,964,608. This is an extraordinary result, as three seasons in Division 1A will have been enough for the club to meet and exceed its financial target of a break-even result. This profit can be explained by the club's excellent sporting results, in particular its successful European results in the 2022-2023 season, as well as the completion of outgoing player transfers. In addition, the club continues to pay close attention to the management of its costs and investments.
