FAQ: Games at the Marien for 2024/25

The return to the Stade Joseph Marien is approaching! This Friday at 8.45pm, we play against Beerschot in the Duden Park. Be sure to go through the info below on the season ticket policy (attending at least 10 games as a season ticket holder), mobility, returning eco-cups and sorting waste.

Ecocups

As part of our environmental objectives, we have been working with an eco-cup system for a few years now. If you order drinks in the stadium, you have to pay a deposit of 0.50€ per cup. After the match, you can return your cups in two ways.

Hand in your cups at one of our Cup Collect Points

You can hand in your cups at one of our Cup Collect Points. These are at entrances 2, 3 and 4 before and after the match and in the Club House for as long as it is open. Once you have handed in your cups, you will be given a QR code that you will have to scan with your smartphone's camera, not your Payconiq or banking app. Once you have submitted the correct details, the correct amount will be deposited into your bank account within 72 hours.

Donate your deposit to Union Inspires

At the exit of the stadium, there will also be a couple of large bins branded Union Inspires. If you leave your cup(s) there, your cup deposit will go to Union Inspires, the branch of the club that deals with all kinds of environmental and social projects. Read more about Union Inspires.

Season ticket policy: attendance at at least 10 out of 15 home games

Just like last season, our season ticket policy requires season ticket holders to attend at least 10 out of 15 home games during the regular season, pass your season ticket through the Ticket Pass system or sell your seat/standing place on our ticketing platform. Selling your seat can be done up to 72 hours before kick-off.

If you fail to do so for 10 games during the Jupiler Pro League regular season, you will not be granted access to the 2025/26 season ticket renewal period next season.

Mobility

We strongly encourage our supporters to use soft mobility. Cyclists can use the Lucien® BikePark (Chausée de Bruxelles) two hours before the match until one hour after the match. You can also leave your electric step in one of our drop-off zones (Avenue Massenet, Lainésquare and Avenue Victor Rousseaulaan). You can find all mobility info here.

Waste

Please keep the stadium and its surroundings clean. Remember to sort your waste in the stadium: put your plastic bottles in the blue bins and your residual waste in the black bins. In front of the stadium: do not leave anything lying around on the street (cups, cigarette butts, rubbish). From Friday, you will also find sorting stations on the street in front of the stadium. Use the urinals or portable toilets provided by the club.

Please email ticketing@rusg.be if you have questions for the ticketing department. For general questions, please contact rusg@rusg.be.

We wish you a great and unforgettable season!
