Our European campaign kicks off on Thursday 24 August against FC Lugano in the UEFA Europa League Play-offs. This match will take place at the Anderlecht Stadium at 20.30.

The Unionists will battle against Lugano on 24 August at 20.30 for a spot in the group stage of the Europa League. Like last year, we have the following hospitality packages on offer.

Goalkeeper Joachim Imbrechts (21) extended his contract at the Parc Duden until June 2025.

With a strong performance in a sun-drenched Marienstadion, the Unionists brushed aside Leuven. The goals came through Terho, Puertas, Eckert (2) and Nilsson. We start the season with a 9 out of 9!

Senne Lynen and Bart Nieuwkoop are not in the squad for tomorrow's home game against OH Leuven (kick-off at 18h15). They completed their transfer last week. For Henok Teklab, he is on his way to fitness but the match comes too soon for him.

Nieuwkoop (27) returns to his former home in Rotterdam on a paid transfer. Nieuwkoop was a regular on the right wing for two seasons and impressed on both the Belgian and European stage.

Players aged between 6 and 12 from our RUSG Academy will be offered a training course by the Maradona Soccer Academy next week from 14 August to 18 August. A football school founded by the family of former world footballer Diego Armando Maradona.

Senne Senne Lynen (24) played three seasons at the Parc Duden. Having played 87 games for our club, the midfielder is moving to Germany on a paid transfer.

Swiss side FC Lugano will be our opponent in the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League. We should normally play the first game on 24 August in Brussels (Anderlecht Stadium) and the second game on 31 August in Geneva (where Lugano plays its European matches). Ticket information will follow.
