Brussels, 28 November 2023 - Union Saint-Gilloise and Brussels Airlines agree to purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for all of the football club's international travel from now on. SAF is a more sustainable fuel that can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80 per cent*. From now on, 100 per cent of SAF will be purchased for all of Union's international travel. Union is the first European football club to sign such an agreement.

In a top-of-the-range match at the KAA Gent Arena, Gent scored first, but in the second half an improved Union fought their way to 1-1, following a thunderstrike by Puertas.

The international break is over and Union are back in action in the Jupiler Pro League! The Unionists head to the Ghelamco Arena for a match against KAA Gent. Internationals Mohammed Amoura, Anthony Moris, Koki Machida, Loïc Lapoussin, Kevin Rodriguez and Casper Terho are in Alexander Blessin's squad.
