Absolutely. The soccer clubs Renaissance Forestoise, FC Forest, Olympique Forestois, and Maccabi use four synthetic fields. They will all remain in their current configuration. The same goes for the panoramic cafeteria and the ground-floor locker rooms. Nothing will change.

The grass rugby field, used by RC Forest, will be moved a few dozen meters along Chaussée de Neerstalle. It will replace the current soccer field, which is currently used by certain youth associations in Saint-Gilles, though less intensively than the four synthetic fields at Bempt.

The club’s five pétanque courts will remain in place and will still be adjacent to the Frankveld clubhouse. They will simply be repositioned a few meters to allow fans to walk smoothly from Boulevard de la Deuxième Armée Britannique.

Certain areas of the new stadium could be used for storage or meetings by these local clubs.

All sports facilities will be accessible every day of the year, whether on foot, by public transit, by bike, or by car, even on days when Union matches are held. Bike and car parking spaces will be reserved for players, staff members, and parents of the amateur clubs. Pedestrian pathways will be designed to ensure comfortable and safe access.

Union is a soccer club. We are well-positioned to appreciate just how important amateur sports are to the well-being of the people of Brussels.
