The first time was in 1946 in Toulouse during Union's French tour, which ended in a 4-3 loss for the Unionists.

In the early spring of 1957, Union and Daring worked together in order to organise friendly matches against big teams around Europe. For the second encounter, the Toulousians visited Belgium after winning the French Cup in 1957. The Daring-Union team was able to take revenge and won 4-1 in front of 10,000 supporters.
