Union seeks physiotherapist for Union Academy

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise's youth academy is looking for a physiotherapist to join its medical team.

Duties and responsibilities 
 

 

  • Medical permanence Kiné:
    Be present at the training complex Monday to Friday from 4.30pm to 8pm during training sessions and on Saturdays from 9.30am to 2.30pm during matches. You will be the first point of contact for initial contact, care and rehabilitation of Union Academy players and players, from U8 to U21. This permanence is carried out in coordination with two physiotherapists.

 

  • Private consultations:
    Prioritise private consultations for Union Academy players and players.

 

  • Management of medical records:
    Keeping the medical records of Union Academy players and players up to date.
     
  • Follow-up on injuries:
    Following up injured players and setting up treatments in collaboration with Union Academy doctors and other physiotherapists.
     
  • Teamwork:
    Close cooperation with the technical staff and physiotherapists of the youth academy, under the supervision of Union Academy doctors.

 

Profile:
 

  • Qualifications:
    Diploma in Physiotherapy with a specialisation in Sports Physiotherapy.
    Additional skills in Manual Therapy, Osteopathy, Dry Needling, etc. are a plus.

  • Location:
    Preferably a private practice near the youth academy, located in Anderlecht, near the Erasmus Hospital.

  • Experience:
    Experience in the medical world of football is a plus.

  • Skills and attributes:
    Team spirit and desire to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
    Flexibility and adaptability.
    Respect for hierarchy.
