Union is looking for a merchandising assistant
Union is looking to strengthen its merchandising department.
Main Mission
The Merchandising Assistant manages the sales outlets. They ensure supporter satisfaction by offering high-quality products and an optimal shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective management and visual presentation of both physical stores and the online shop.
- Responsible for receiving, checking, labelling, and storing merchandise.
- Enter this data accurately into the stock management system.
- Oversee store displays and replenishment to ensure smooth operations and continuous sales.
- Organise and support sales operations on matchdays.
- Act as the link between the physical store and the webshop.
- Assist supporters/customers throughout the purchasing process.
- Manage inventory between the fanshop and the webshop, and handle orders.
- Conduct regular inventory checks.
- Support marketing campaigns and promote products during key events.
- Contribute to the development and management of digital tools related to sales (POS systems, management software, etc.).
- Assist the Merchandising Manager with daily tasks and department-related projects.
Required Skills:
- Experience in merchandising, ideally within the sports industry.
- Skills in sales analysis and customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities (internally and externally).
- Creative, organised, detail-oriented, autonomous, flexible, commercially minded, and passionate about football.
- Fluent in Dutch, with a good command of French and strong English skills.
