Union fails to reward themselves with three points in Toulouse
One point is the meagre harvest in Toulouse. Union could have returned to Brussels with a win, but Amoura and Puertas missed two huge chances.
There were particularly few opportunities in the first half. Toulouse threatened once, but Burgess intervened well and neutralised Donnum's shot before it could threaten Moris.
Union also countered with one but admittedly big chance, Amoura was able to go one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but his ball was turned away just in front of an empty goal.

Scoreless at half-time
After the break, Union was clearly the better team. Amoura perhaps should have been awarded a penalty after yet another, and surely wrong, intervention by the home team.
Puertas' shot was hard, but goalkeeper Restes deflected it well. The biggest chances then were yet to come. Amoura kicked wildly over in the rebound, while the goal was as good as empty.
Afterwards, it was again up to Puertas to pull the trigger all alone in front of the goalkeeper, but his shot went above the crossbar.
It ended 0-0. Against Liverpool on the last matchday, we must now give everything for a win, because if LASK were still to win at home against Toulouse, the European dream is in danger of ending before the festive period.
There is still hope despite today's regrets. Let's give it our all in Brussels against Liverpool! 💛💙 pic.twitter.com/H6QPN7TEts
