Union does the double over Molenbeek and secures its Champions' Play-offs spot

Blessin started with Castro-Montes in place of the suspended Mac Allister. This brought Terho into the squad on the right wing.

In the first 10 minutes, Rasmussen was dangerous from a free-kick. Moris did not have to intervene when Gueye attempted a header.

In the 23rd minute, the Unionists were rewarded. Amoura found Nilsson who simply placed the ball into an empty net. 1-0!

But our celebrations didn't last long. After a counter-attack, Dwomoh scored, but fortunately the goal was disallowed for offside in the previous phase and the score remained 1-0.

Union then got their momentum back. Nilsson cleverly deceived his opponent and was tipped over. Penalty! Cameron Puertas converted it with ease. 2-0 ! Nilsson then had another chance to put himself on the scoresheet again, but the score remained 2-0 at half-time.

After the break, Union rose to the occasion with their first attack. Puertas fed Amoura, who was brought down by goalkeeper Defourny. The second penalty of the evening, converted by Amoura!

But the 3-0 scoreline wasn't reassuring, as Molenbeek soon got back into the game. Carlos Alberto flicked the ball over Moris to make it 3-1.

Union then made five more substitutions and the game was back on when Biron made it 3-2. But the three points remained at Duden Park! 6 points out of 6 this season against Molenbeek and the certainty of playing in the Champions' Play-offs!
