Union books victory at the Mambourg
The Unionists take the three points in Charleroi thanks to goals from Amoura (2) and Terho.
The match got off to a somewhat hesitant start, which was also somewhat due to the state of the pitch that both teams struggled with.
Dragnes did have a first big opportunity on behalf of the hosts, but he shot into the side net.

Union's reply came via the ubiquitous Cameron Puertas, who snatched the ball from Heymans and Amoura finished it off with an ice-cold finish: 0-1 for Union. Before the break, Heymans could have made up for it all, but Castro-Montes was excellent in between.
After the break, Union emphatically looked for the 0-2, but had to watch out for Charleroi's breakthroughs.

Keep going in the second half!
After an attack via Puertas, it was Castro-Montes who served Terho and if he can put it in front of his left, it will always be a difficult task for a goalkeeper. 0-2 in the near corner.
Charleroi now had to go all out and Union took full advantage of the space in the back of the home defence. Speedy Amoura crossed the pitch and poked the ball into the goal with a low shot for his eleventh of the season. With 0-3 on the scoreboard, minds were already turning to Liverpool's match next Thursday.
Union remain leaders in the Pro League! And on Thursday we will do everything to play European football after new year!
