Summer camp report Doorwerth 2024: hard work and double win
The training camp in the Netherlands was the first under the authority of coach Sebastien Pocognoli. The practice camp cost our players a lot of sweat, but also a good feeling after two friendly wins in two days. Allez Saint-Gilles !
The intensive summer camp in the Doorwerth green is over. The players were presented with up to two training sessions each day. On Thursday, a team-building session was scheduled.
Afterwards, the matches against Go Ahead Eagles and PAOK were won 2-1 each time.
Now the eyes turn to Sporting Clube de Portugal and our match against the Portuguese champions Wednesday night at the Algarve Stadium. Fans wishing to watch on the spot can purchase their ticket here.
The players will complete a training session there on Thursday morning and fly back to Brussels.
Then on 20 July, the eve before our national holiday, follows the Super Cup against Club Brugge.The match will kick off at 8pm. Tickets + a ticket for the bus trip are available through our fan clubs, contact them here.
And that's not all, because tomorrow we will also show you our new home shirt. In yellow and blue, of course.
The shirt will be used for two seasons, in light of our sustainability goals. Besides the white away shirt, which is entering its second season, there will also be a third shirt soon. That will also be on sale for fans this season.
