Squad selection Union - Westerlo
Matchday 25 of the Jupiler Pro League and we host Westerlo! The match will kick off at 18.15 in the a sold-out Marien Stadium. Season Ticket Holders who cannot attend the game can pass on their seats via the ticket pass system on the ticketing website.
Kevin Rodriguez (knee strain) and Fedde Leysen (shoulder) are almost fully back. Rodriguez will join the group next week, but the game against Westerlo comes too soon. The same goes for Leysen, who did join the group already.
Coach Blessin:
Westerlo had some struggles in the beginning of the season. But they're a different side now. They bring good football to the table. We need to give 100%, not 90%, because then we will encounter problems. We discussed the Cup game from last Wednesday and our behavior in ball losses. This will make us better, because we’re still progressing and we’re taking steps every game.
