Squad selection for our cup tie against Meux

For our first cup game of the season, coach Blessin selected 20 players. Getting rest: Moris, Burgess, Vanhoutte, Amoura and Castro-Montes. Gustaf Nilsson is rehabilitating after a muscle injury.

Almost 5,000 tickets have been sold for Wednesday's cup match (kick-off at 15.00) against RFC Meux. As many as 1,200 visitors will fill the South stand. Tickets are still on sale until noon on Wednesday via ticketing.rusg.brussels.

"We are resting some players, but the focus will remain. My players know the system and I want them to give everything. Meux also went out narrowly against STVV 1-0 at this stage of the competition last season. We have to take this seriously. The fact that they completely sold out their away end, and that lots of tickets on Union's side have also been sold, shows the importance of the Belgian Cup."
