Squad selection for last game of the season
Union - Genk will conclude another memorable campaign for Union tomorrow at 18:30. The title hopes are still alive, but then everything has to go according to plan. Regardless, we will celebrate our Cup win, our first in 89 years, with our players after the match.
Winning against Genk on the final matchday of the Play-offs means certainty about the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Champions League. It seems a hallucinatory statement after a season we started with a lot of in and out transfers. But it was even a season with the first major prize, the Cup of Belgium, since 1935 (our last national title).
After the match, we will take time to celebrate our Cup win together. There will be a designated area on the pitch for players and fans will have the chance to enter the pitch after it is set up.

Against Genk we played the opener of these Playoffs and that heralded a bad start. But now we can set something against that. All that matters is our own game, so we absolutely want and need to win that one.
