Senne Lynen moves to Werder Bremen

Senne Senne Lynen (24) played three seasons at the Parc Duden. Having played 87 games for our club, the midfielder is moving to Germany on a paid transfer.

In the summer of 2020, Senne Lynen was transferred from Dutch side Telstar. In his first season, he got promoted to D1A with Union.

After a good season start in 2021 that included a goal and three assists, Senne suffered a knee injury that kept him sidelined for the rest of the season. During his rehabilitation, Senne signed a contract for an extended stay at Union until 2024.

Senne after scoring the 1-2 against Anderlecht in January earlier this year.

Senne's comeback followed in the 2022-2023 season, and what a comeback it was. With 53 appearances for Union, he was instrumental in our third-place finish in the league, quarter-final in the Europa League and semi-final in the cup.

Including two goals, the opener in the first game of the Europa League group stage against Berlin and another important one against Anderlecht, and seven assists.

Thank you and good luck, Senne. The Marien Stadium will forever be your home.
