Mathias Rasmussen leaves Union for St. Pauli
At 28, Mathias Rasmussen continues his career with German top-flight side St. Pauli, coached by our former manager Alexander Blessin. The move is a permanent transfer.
Mathias Rasmussen is a Unionist cut from the right cloth. The Norwegian midfielder always leads by example, brings intensity into every battle, boasts a powerful left foot and is never short of a sharp joke.
During his time at Union, Rasmussen made 113 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 9 assists.
He joined Union in the summer of 2023 and departs in the winter of 2026 as a cup winner and league champion. We’ll miss you, Mathias. Thank you for everything!
