Job: Sustainability Project Officer
La Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is looking for a Sustainability Project Officer.
Union Inspires is the club’s sustainability strategy, it is based on four pillars and signals the club’s commitment to live up to its environmental, corporate, community and social responsibilities. In the past three years, dozens of social and environmental impact projects have been carried out by the club, under the Union Inspires program.
Responsibilities
Management and implementation of RUSG’s sustainability projects with relevant departments
Analysis and evaluation of sectoral trends and coordinate implementation at RUSG
Monitoring of KPIs
Further development of internal processes and ensuring compliance with the processes
Support for reporting efforts (carbon footprint and other sustainability activities)
Liaise with communities (UNS4CA, TheShift, Pro League…)
Support business development activities
Profile
Successfully completed studies in field related to sustainability / environmental sciences
Experience in project management
Minimum 2 years of professional experience
Structured and analytical way of working
Knowledge of earth and climate systems, specific knowledge on waste and energy management is a plus
Data collection and processing + reporting skills
Specialist knowledge of ESG standards
Strong oral and written communication skills + presentation skills (in French and English or Dutch and English)
High degree of organizational skills
Confident handling of Microsoft Office
Ability to work autonomously
Strong collaborating skills
