Opponents

Liverpool FC is one of the most famous clubs in world football with 19 English titles and 6 Champions Leagues to their name. The Reds also won 3 UEFA Cups, the predecessor of the UEFA Europa League. The last time Liverpool played against a Belgian side was against KRC Genk in the group stage of the Champions League in 2019.

Toulouse FC is a well-known club from France. They won the Cup of France just last year. In the final they were too strong for Nantes, securing a ticket for the group stage of the Europa League. Very impressive for a team that played in the second division the year before. Toulouse has had very famous players over the years such as Fabien Barthez, Serge Aurier, Wissam Ben Yedder, André-Pierre Gignac and others. Their last European game in Belgium was against Club Brugge in the 2009/2010 season.

LASK Linz have consistently played European football in the past six years, including one season in the Champions League, four in the Europa League and one in the Conference League. The impressive modern Raiffeisen Arena became the Austrians' new home ground since this year. They will want to make history in this exciting group.
