Union strengthen U23 team with Mayonga, Egel and Tshilanda

Union are continuing to develop their academy pathway with substantial investments in areas including infrastructure, culture and knowledge. Competing in the FFA’s first national division, Union U23 represents the final step between the youth academy and Union’s first team.

The team is now strengthened by three young talents. Daniel Tshilanda (20), who completed his entire development at Union, returns to Union U23 after spending a year at Sporting Hasselt. German midfielder Dennis Egel (21) joins from FC Astoria Walldorf, while Norwegian Katoto Michee Mayonga (19) makes the move to Union from Rade IL. All three have signed two-year contracts, with an option for an additional season.
