Union signs defensive midfielder Kricfalusi
Czech defensive midfielder Ondrej Kricfalusi is the latest addition to Union Saint-Gilloise. The 22-year-old youth international joins from Baník Ostrava and has signed a contract through 2030.
Kricfalusi came through the youth academy of Czech top club Slavia Prague, where he also made his professional debut and played in the UEFA Conference League. He later had spells at Vlašim (in the Czech second division) and Teplice (in the Czech top flight), before permanently moving to Baník Ostrava. There he impressed with five goals in 24 league appearances last season. As a youth international, he featured in the UEFA U21 Championship in 2025.
