Union signs attacker Hurtevent from KV Kortrijk
Ilan Hurtevent has signed a contract with Union Saint-Gilloise. The 21-year-old Belgian joins from Kortrijk and has committed to the Belgian Cup winners until mid-2030.
Hurtevent is a striker who came through the youth academy of KV Kortrijk. He went on loan to RFC Knokke for the 2024/25 season, where he played in the third division. Last season, he made his professional debut for KV Kortrijk in the Challenger Pro League. With that club, he earned promotion to the Jupiler Pro League, and next season, he will face his former teammates in Union’s yellow and blue.
I’m very happy and proud of this new step in my career. The past few years have gone quickly: from the third division to the Challenger Pro League, and now to the Jupiler Pro League and even European football. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and being part of one of Belgium’s top sides.
