Union Saint-Gilloise closes the financial year with a profit

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, including the Union Foundation and the Academy, closed the financial year on 30 June 2025 with a net profit after tax of €4,217,796.

This positive result is mainly explained by player transfers completed during the 2024 summer window as well as the successful European campaign.

In accordance with the decision of the General Assembly, this profit will be fully allocated to reducing accumulated losses, thereby strengthening the club’s equity position.

The profit achieved during the 2024-2025 season reflects operating revenues comparable to those of the previous season, underlining the need for a new stadium, which is essential to ensure higher and sustainable revenue streams.

Thanks to its Belgian championship title for the 2024-2025 season, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is competing this season in the Champions League, a qualification that will generate a significant increase in turnover and financial results for the 2026 financial year.

At the same time, the club continues to maintain strict financial discipline, with a wage bill comparable to that of the previous season, despite the excellent sporting results.
The club also continues its investment policy in its infrastructure and youth development.
