Union presents: ‘Union Champion, the film of a historic season’, showing at Union Plage and on DAZN
Exactly one month after winning the title, we’re launching a 30-minute film about Union’s historic championship season. The film will be shown on Wednesday evening at Union Plage at 7PM, and at 8:30PM for free on the DAZN app.
“Everything will be said here tonight, even if it means going nose to nose right now!” — those were the words of Sébastien Pocognoli after Union’s 2-1 defeat in Istanbul against Fenerbahçe. It’s one of several intense locker room moments captured in this 30-minute season recap.
May 25th, 2025 will go down in history as the day Union became Belgian champions for the 12th time — 90 years after the previous title win in 1935. Throughout the entire season, Union’s media team filmed behind the scenes: from summer camp to the locker room, training sessions to the unforgettable title celebration on Van Meenenplein in Saint-Gilles.
Coach Pocognoli guides us through the key turning points of the season for matricule 10 — from the lowest lows to the greatest victories, including the Champions’ Play-offs where Union collected 28 out of 30 points.
