Union to play Europa League League Phase in Leuven

Den Dreef to host Europa League fixtures.

As our own Joseph Marien Stadium does not meet UEFA’s requirements for European football, we are once again required to move to another stadium for our European home matches. Just as during our first European campaign in the 2022/23 season, Den Dreef will be our home for the League Phase of the Europa League.

Following our elimination in the Champions League qualifying rounds against Bodø/Glimt, Union will once again compete in the Europa League. The four home matches we will play during the League Phase will be held at Den Dreef. This will allow us to welcome our supporters, partners and players in the best possible conditions, just a stone’s throw from our home in Brussels.

We are very grateful to the City of Leuven and OH Leuven for their hospitality and hope to make this another successful European campaign together. We would also like to once again thank the City of Ostend and football club KVDO for welcoming us to the coast during this summer’s Champions League qualifying match against Bodø/Glimt.

The draw for the Europa League League Phase will take place on Friday, 28 August. The exact fixture schedule is expected to be announced the following day.
