Union conclude training camp in the Netherlands with a draw and a defeat against PSV

PSV-Union ends in 3-3 and 4-0.

Union wrapped up their summer training camp with a double-header against Dutch champions PSV. Two separate 75-minute matches (45 minutes + 30 minutes) were played in Eindhoven.

In the first game, Union fell behind early but fought their way back into the match. Trailing 3-1 at the break, the Unionists pushed hard after half-time. Raul first missed a penalty and Mac Allister struck the post, but goals from Fuseini and Guilherme earned Union a deserved 3-3 draw. Debutant Mofokeng provided the assist for the equaliser.

The second match featured two completely different starting elevens, with PSV proving too strong. The Dutch side led 3-0 at half-time. Mofokeng and academy player Keita came on after the break, but they could not prevent PSV from adding a fourth goal.

Union therefore conclude their six-day training camp in the Netherlands with another valuable test in Eindhoven. Next week, the team will face Lille OSC in Oostende in their final pre-season friendly before taking on Club Brugge in the Belgian Super Cup on 31 July.
