Union advances to the Round of 16 of the Croky Cup and draws Zulte Waregem
Rodriguez found the net twice again, leading Union to victory in Tubize. David added a late goal as Union claimed a 0-3 win against a well-playing Tubize side.
In the first half, Union created plenty of chances. However, goalkeeper Cremers turned out to be the standout performer before the break, denying Guilherme a certain goal and keeping out a powerful header as well.
Man of the second half? Kevin Rodriguez. He opened the scoring (0-1) by finishing off a deflected cutback from Guilherme — who made his first appearance for Union. Our goalkeeper Chambaere then had to deal with a strong effort from former Union player Rajsel but stood firm.
Rodriguez later broke through again and chipped the ball over Cremers to make it 0-2. The qualification was already secured when David made it 0-3 in stoppage time, assisted by fellow substitute Makate.
