Guilherme remains a Union player until mid-2030

Guilherme Smith has extended his contract with Union by one year. In addition, Union holds an option to extend the contract for a further year.

The Brazilian winger joined from Kalju FC last summer. After an adaptation period, he became a regular starter from the winter onwards and featured in the Champions League against Bayern Munich and Atalanta Bergamo. During the Champions’ Play-Offs, he was a consistent presence in the starting line-up, as well as in the cup final victory against Anderlecht. Across all competitions, Guilherme recorded four goals and two assists.

“I’m incredibly proud to extend my contract here,” said Guilherme. “I’m highly motivated to continue proving myself at this fantastic club, where I feel very much at home. I’ll do everything I can to make the supporters proud and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again soon in our own stadium.”
