Defender Mamadou Thierno Barry signs with Union
The young Senegalese defender (19) joins Union in preparation for the 2025-2026 season. Barry transfers from Norwegian club Tromsø IL and will take the coming months to adapt to his new surroundings. He has signed a contract with Union until 2029.
Mamadou Barry became a key player for Tromsø IL midway through last season, which runs from April to December in Norway.
Across all competitions, he made 19 appearances, scoring one goal. However, he stood out most with his defensive qualities.
