Captain Mac Allister remains an Unionist

Kevin Mac Allister extends his contract until 2031.

Union and Mac Allister (28) have signed a new agreement that will keep the Argentine defender at the Brussels-based Belgian runners-up until 2031.

The captain joined the club from his previous side in the summer of 2023 and immediately established himself as a key player. Mac Allister has since made 146 appearances for Union, scoring 10 goals. During his time at Union, the Argentine has grown into one of the leaders of the team that became Belgian champions, played every game in last season’s Champions League League Phase and even made his international debut for then world champions Argentina.

Mac Allister: “I’m happy that I can stay here for longer. My ambition has always been to strive for the highest possible level in sporting terms. At this stage of my career, that is at Union. Once again this year, we will be competing for the highest honours in the league, the cup and Europe, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m also looking forward to bringing the rest of the team along with me in pursuing those ambitions.”
