Austrian striker Raul Florucz signs with Union until 2029

The 24-year-old forward joins from Slovenian champions NK Olimpija Ljubljana. Last season, he scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists in 41 matches. He also made his debut for the Austrian national team under Ralf Rangnick.

Florucz came through the youth ranks at Austrian side LASK before moving to Croatian club Lokomotiva Zagreb. In Croatia, he was loaned out to Sesvete, Dragovoljac and Jarun. It was at NK Jarun, in the Croatian second division, that he truly broke through, scoring 18 goals in 37 matches.

 

He transferred to Ljubljana for the 2023/24 season. Over two seasons, he made 76 appearances, netted 27 goals and delivered 19 assists. Florucz made his international debut for Austria on March 20th this year against Serbia in the Nations League play-offs.
