Anan Khalaili signs for four seasons at Union

The 19-year-old Arab-Israeli winger joins from Maccabi Haifa and signs a contract until 2028 at the Marien Stadium.

The striker was at Maccabi Haifi's academy since 2014. His family is originally from the Arab town of Sakhnin. Anan's father Majdi was a goalkeeper, and is now a trainer at SC Neve Yosef, a Haifa-based social project that brings together different ethnic groups from the city.

During the 2019-2020 season, he still played for SC Neve Yosef's U19 youth team, where he scored 25 goals in 24 matches, and returned to Maccabi.
