Union to face Diegem Sport, FCSB, and Aarhus in pre-season

Cup winners Union will begin their preparation for the 2026/2027 season on June 26 with the first training session. The medical tests for all players will take place two days prior. Players participating in the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico will, of course, join the squad at a later date.

The summer schedule is as follows:

June 30: Diegem Sport (Belgian Fourth Division) vs. Union. 6:30 PM, Gemeentelijk Sportstadion Diegem. Tickets available at the entrance: seated: €12, standing: €10, children under 12: €5.
July 1, 6:00 PM: Shirt reveal event (O’Neills home and away kits) at Van Meenenplein in Saint-Gilles. Free entry for all fans.
July 5: Union vs. FCSB (Romania). 1:00 PM, KFC Nijlen ground. Tickets available at the entrance: adults: €10, children under 12: €5.
July 11: Union vs. Aarhus GF (Denmark). 2:00 PM. Match behind closed doors.
July 13–18: Training camp in Venray (Netherlands).
July 18: Friendly match against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
July 24: Zwanze Day at Joseph Marienstadion.
July 25: Friendly match against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
July 31: Belgian Supercup – Club Brugge vs. Union. 8:30 PM.
August 8–9: First matchday of the Jupiler Pro League.
