Christian Burgess available against Anderlecht, Belgian football prosecutor did not inform Union of appeal in time
The ruling confirmed the previously imposed suspension of 1 match day + 1 conditional for our player Christian Burgess, and in addition, the appeals committee followed Union's reasoning that the club was informed too late about the appeal by the Belgian Football Association prosecutor's Office.
Christian Burgess is therefore available for the match now Sunday 14th April against Anderlecht.
Union regrets the misreporting by certain media, before the 9 April hearing at the Appeals Commission took place, but is happy that with this ruling, the case is closed
