Union SG – Union Berlin (Europa League) : 3-0

This encounter against Union Berlin was to be a promising one! After an exciting first leg (3-3), coach Karel Geraerts put Simon Adingra alongside Victor Boniface upfront, replacing injured player Yorbe Vertessen.

The match started well for Union Saint-Gilles, who played in Anderlecht for the first time in European Cup history. Simon Adingra snatched the ball from the Berlin defense and Teddy Teuma put it past their keeper to lead 1-0. Our Unionists controlled the game and Union Berlin only had one threat from a long shot from Juranovic.
