What a way to start these Play-Offs with a win against our Brussels rivals! After only 2 minutes, Bart Nieuwkoop found himself in a brilliant striking position to cause havoc against Van Crombrugge for 1-0. In a buzzing Stade Marien, it only took a few more minutes for Dante Vanzeir to double the lead with a nice strike after… 11 minutes of play.

Cullen later closed the gap for our neighbors but Union held on until the end of the first half. From the start of the second half, history repeated itself as Mitoma found himself at the end of a great play by Undav to make it 3-1 to allow Union to break away!

After the third goal, Union were content to control the game brilliantly to take the three points and keep the lead.
