STVV – Union SG : 1-2

As we reached the opening game for the midpoint of the season, Deniz Undav has had us talking about him again.

The match began with two teams that continued to cancel out each other’s efforts until Deniz took advantage of the opposition’s mistake after the half an hour mark from a pinpoint cross from Dante Vanzeir, 0-1.

STVV tried to get back into the game, but Moris blocked a potential equalizer. However, their goal finally came after a shot from a distance by Bruls. Union did not give up and they were able to reap their rewards. After a perfectly taken corner, Undav scored his 16th goal of the season with an angry header that made the net tremble!

Next Sunday, Union will start its second half of the season with a match at Le Marien against Mechelen! A handful of tickets are still on sale in the north stand, so don’t wait to get them before they run out!
