News update: The Belgian Union prosecutor’s office imposes the suspended closure of the East Stand

Our club was again condemned for the use of pyrotechnic material during each of our previous matches (Cappellen, Westerlo, Standard) for a total of 8,000 euros.

In addition, we have also been sentenced to a (partial) suspended closure of the East Stand.

We therefore reiterate our request to our fans not to bring pyrotechnic material to the Stade Joseph Marien. Those who bring it anyway risk a fine and a stadium ban.

For your information: Please take into account that Union has already paid more than 50,000 euros in fines this year for the use of pyrotechnic material.
